Holiday nightmare in Altinkum

Two British sisters and their friend endured a two-hour rape ordeal during a holiday trip to Altinkum. The sisters, aged 18 and 20, and their 19-year-old companion told local police they were attacked after accepting a lift home from a bar in the town centre in Altinkum.

Three man, including two aged 16 and 17, offered to take the women back to their hotel in the early hours of Friday. But the men took the women to a remote and quiet spot where two of them were raped and all three were beaten on they way to the hotel in Altinkum.

The victims, who have not been named for legal reason, were dumped close to their hotel. They reported the attack to local police on Friday.

They told local police they had been befriended by the group earlier in their holiday and had then met them at the disco bar in Altinkum. Local police sources said two of the accused, both aged 16 years, were tracked down through digital camera pictures the girls had taken of them the previous night.

The suspects, identified only by local police, were questioned throughout Friday and taken before Didim Courton Saturday for further questioning by the public prosecutor.

They were later released on bail while police inquiries continue. Police said a third man, aged 29, wanted for questioning over the attack, is still on the run and local police has begin to follow him and already nelieved to be in Izmir.

The tourists have declined offers of support and help from British Consulate officials in Izmir Turkey. Police is still searching for third man, which is still on the run. However local police has reached his name and investigation goes on.

Finally third man has been caught by Izmir police after incedent and will already has been questioned before on his way to Altinkum before he appears at Didim Court soon.
